I think that was the first time I've seen a goal go in off of a ref's butt.

Correction: not a "goal"

Oh well.

Big brawl here. Does that happen often at the college level?

Thank fucking God. Hopefully Brownie has more of his coaching mentor in him than the guy for whom he played.

*Lenny Ceglarski was a great guy and a fine human being and a pretty good hockey coach between October and early March (excepting the first two Mondays in February, when he was beyond god awful). With that said, my God could he find ways to lose the NCAAs began.

I think you owe Coach Brown an apology. :ace

what a bizarre game. kudos to fowler for keeping them in it during whatever the hell went on the first 30. i haven't seen a replay so i'll defer to angry dick but live gabe's hit looked pretty blatant. the whole challenge system is stupid, the penalty for losing is losing your timeout? should be a delay of game.

i know i'm not breaking any news but what a player leonard is. breaks up the 2 on 1 on one end and buries a rebound while getting dumped. he's good and has no problem letting the other team know

also shoutout to the refs for causing the complete gongshow in the 3rd. they let every slash and spear go for 2 periods and of course the nonsense goes on started with the high hit on leonard.

here's to quinnipiac - wisco going all night

Quinnipiac will be tough. We were lucky to beat them as they totally outplayed us.

Yep. Another team loaded with 24 year old juniors and sophomores. Scummy, arriviste program playing at a school that produces 4th rate, low level insurance company managers, with an incredibly high percentage of Sound Shore Greaseball Dagos from Mamaroneck, Port Chester all the way up to North Haven. The sort of school that UCONN can justifiably look down on.

angry dick's interpretation of quinnipiac is pretty spot on.

friday at the dunk 2 btardo's sit a couple of rows in front of us. both were so fat they could fit in the seat nor had seen a shower since their banner raising in the fall.

sleep walking through 30 minutes won't work today. :pontif

Turned on the game at the top of the 2nd period 0-0. 2 minutes later, 0-2. My bad. Gonna turn this shit off. Sorry fellas

That looked like a very Ceglarskian effort for most of the day. Glad it had a Yorkian ending. Although losing to BU in the finals would be the ultimate Ceglarskian move.

quinnipiac was exactly as angry dick described. a bunch of 25 year olds that play their system very well, albeit incredibly boring.

amazing grit to keep coming back, needed the depth players.

looks like all the gayze and blue members on this board will be quite conflicted, probably highest collection of talent in recent memory for a FF.

My bad. Confused Ceglarski with Cedorchuk. Getting old sucks almost as bad as Cerdorchuk as HC

brown is as emotionless on the bench as i can remember, good or bad on the ice

anyway this is the exact game bc loses all the time in the tournament. 2013 v union, 2014 v union, 2016 v qpac, 2021 v st. cloud.

bc was 0-4-2 v quinnipiac heading into this season with all games played over the last decade.

some fun numbers:
fowler broke ncaa record for wins in a season by a FR (31)
cutter is up to 37 goals (single season record is 38)
will smith has 11th most points in a season (68), most ever by a FR, 2nd most by an underclassman
as mentioned on broadcast, leonard has most goals ever by a FR.

Im currently debating it. Airfare tripled since Sunday, but I think it may be a great experience.

I assume everyone is staying downtown Minnie.

Eh BU got bad puck luck. They were by far the better team. Bad change was the only way Denver was scoring.

Great to beat on the cheating shitbags of Hamas University. Rumor has it that Murt and Elvii are very sad after watching the game in a gay bar. Also good to beat the turncoat traitor, fake ex-captain Marshall Warren. Not everyone who gets a degree is a real Eagle and I hope the Michigan alumni network will take care of him when his ECHL career ends in two years.

yeah re denver was a comment on their their program being in FF 5 of last 8 years with a couple of championships. for saturday, their powerplay looked awful.

michigan was a great matchup for bc, could've been a lot worse of leonard buried a couple of his chances.

will smith is now tied with eichel for most points as an 18 year old over the last 30 years (71)

one of these days ambrosio is going to find the back of the net.

i would think the school down the road aligns more w hamas than ann arbor

UMich gets the actual Hamas terrorists because they have in state tuition there

BU gets the sons of the Arab sheikhs who wake up in a 6 star suite in Dubai surrounded by Moldovan hookers, empty Johnnie Blue bottles and piles of blow and feel like bad Muslims so they wire $10 mil to the Hamas account to assuage their guilt

Philly and Domingo absolutely nailed it. The next domestic Islamist terrorist attack in America will be perpetrated by a few engineering students at Hamas University of Ann Arbor funded by a rich neer do well Hajji who is skirting with failing out of Questrom.

The fancy stickplay vs getting a legit shot on net is getting old too
