well done by the nerds, lining up in the afternoon to get in.
fowler was outstanding with some luck. solid conservative 3rd period play
hard to believe getting this feedback on a bc home game:
“The building is so loud. It’s hard to hear yourself think at times…It’s unbelievable. You come out here for warmups and the students are screaming at you. This is why you come to BU or BC. It’s hard to say what it’s like until you’re in this building.”

BC was the better team but that game could have gone either way with the posts. Also, all 3 non empty net goals were absolute snipes. Both goalies were excellent.

Hafley was there and I am sure he was envious seeing all student sections packed and rocking 30+ mins before the start.

Got outplayed and won on the road. That's huge. Fuck the Beanpole, those 6 points are enormous.

They are also sloppy with the puck against a forecheck.

we're also spoiled by bc's announcers and production.

Mediocre pee wee forecheck would give these sloppy BC defensemen trouble.

A terrible and yet utterly predictable loss. As BC has never won a national title without winning the Beanpot, the season is now officially over and I can go back to ignoring all BC sports again.

The third BU goal was maybe the single worst hockey play I've ever seen a defenseman make. That was the worst hands on a hockey player I have ever seen. You don't see worse first touches outside of the US Men's soccer team.

a couple of lazy lazy plays and stupid penalties
settled down in 2nd & 3rd and controlled majority of play imo but poor effort

Really tricky ticket. I was there, but as difficult as I've ever had finding a Beanpot Ticket.

had to chuckle at the limited celebration by gabe after the goal to go up 1-0. solid game given circumstances.

Perhaps that 1st rd loss to the terriers was exactly what we needed.
That was a total beat down of zoomass last night.

after this weekend 86% chance of the #1 overall seed.
umass probably has the worst fanbase in college hockey, following the lead of their clown head coach
love the 15 minute breakdowns on penalties from this weekend.

completely sleptwalked through saturday.
get healthy over next couple of weeks, the kid didn't think either powell or gabe were long term injuries.
clinched a 1 seed and now has a near 90% chance for overall #1 and good friday in providence

weird game, no gabe means they're fully reliant on one line to score (hell of a line to rely on though).
win on sunday, clinch regular season.
leonard is now 5 behind gionta for FR record in goals. caps got a hell of a player, look forward to him doing donuts in angry dick's front yard

up to 97% chance for #1 overall. 2 games over the next 2+ weeks, nice chance to get healthy. seems like we might get a lighter lineup this weekend (the kid confirmed no gabe vs mack), we'll see
