Watching this game. Pretty clear, pretty obvious, BC doesn't have the athletes. They win 4 games because they played 4 teams much weaker than this Colorado State team. Simple as that. Colorado State's starting 5 all veteran, all seniors and grad students.

There is no possible defense that Grant can put them in at half time that makes a difference here. BC only wins if they basically hit ALL their shots and State needs to start missing them. We are down by 9 at this point. I don't see BC getting that much closer.

CSU has a great offense, but the number of illegal screens they set is alarming

Colorado St is #54 kenpom and they will be higher once they beat Colorado next. This wouldn’t be a bad loss, obviously, but it’s been too long into this regime to feel good about moral victories

They’re pretty good and we’re struggling to defend this type of offense so it’s a good experience.

Don't get snippy with me. Watching the same game you are. BC is being completely out-athleted here. The only way they win is State needs to start missing all their shots. There is nothing BC can do themselves, to win this game.

We can agree to disagree on this one

Refs just called one. They are ON to them

I think this team is maybe a coin flip to win the Mountain West. We may be looking at a March Madness team here.

Are you allowed to chop block guys on a loose ball? Call a foul!

Brutal stretch for BC

Post is an above average passer for a big, but that’s the third cross-court jokic pass that’s been right into a crowd of rams

We’ve played very dumb and deserve to lose this game. Good learning experience

This game is a hell of lot "further-apart" than it looks, IMHO. BC is 16-for-16 from the charity stripe. You shoot perfectly from the foul line you are pretty much always supposed to win. That is unless your opponent is just flat out... better.

No knock on the players and their effort. They played to the maximum of their ability. They'll still score 70+ points before the game is over. Their shooting is fine.

The turnovers are the reason they will lose this game. Holy fuck. Post responsible for most of them but Madsen also dribbled straight into a defender for whatever reason. Too many errant passes into a crowd of defenders who were just as surprised to see the pass headed their way

State wins because they didn't miss the basket. BC loses because as you said, they turned the ball over so much. The Rams are just flat out, better.

20-for-20. You can't be disappointed if you are the coach and that is what you do from charity stripe. Against an equal team, you easily win.

This goes to my playing dumb point.

Losing by double digits to Mountain West teams tells me we’re not quite there yet in the rebuild.

A mountain west team played in the national championship last year.
