And then posted a video postgame from the bus. Jared does a great job giving fans a bit of an inside look at the Suns and if you are on twitter, I recommend following him.

He's getting his minutes. And his coach is saying really good things about him every chance he gets. I was surprised when Larry Brown didn't become enamored with him - Brown always seems to have a soft sport for the hustle guy who "plays the game the right way" - and didn't know if he'd get on the floor with the logjam at the 3 for the Suns, but you can't keep talent off the court.

Fans love him, too.

I watched the game last night and he had a great offensive rebound and put back with about 3 minutes to go in a tie game. Played a great game all around.

Jared's a great player and a good person.

He actually was sitting near my family at my commencement (2006) and took pictures with my brother (who loves BC basketball). He told my brother to send a copy in to the athletics dept once they got printed and my brother ended up getting it back with an autograph.

meanwhile, :seanwilliams sat on the end of the bench for 48 minutes looking dour and worthless

Can you blame him? He lives and works in New Jersey. Shudder.

The Suns look good. Deep bench and playing some offense. They're small, and that could hurt them down the road (i.e. when Gasol comes back), but if Amare feels like playing defense for the rest of the year, they could do some real damage.

Of course, if Amare's knee or Nash's general age catch up to them, they're lkely toast.

Smith is playing pretty well, too. Unfortunately, he'll lose minutes when Grffin comes back.

I discovered a really good Suns blog:Bright Side of the Sun. They are in love with Dudley there. What I found awesome was this little line in their game recap from last night:

Amare was uber-efficient offensively against Okafor and tore David West apart on the glass. He might of only recorded 6 rebounds in 25 minutes but his activity was responsible for several extra possessions. He was virtually Dudley-esque in his effort level and even gave a salute to the crowd in honor of Veterans Day after throwing down a massive jam.

The ESPN daily dime guy said a couple days ago (too lazy to find it again) that dudley is quickly progressing into one of the leagues best and most efficient 6th men. Hopefully when Hill retires he gets the starting job.

Jared had 14 points, 6 rebounds, but nearly fouled out in a blowout loss.
