You failed.
I dont know about Facebook videos, but youtube vids,
1. paste the link
2. highlight the link
3. click the youtube link.
I'll see what i can learn about facebook.

I can get you to link it but not embed it so far.
Post the embed link and delete everything except:
http://www.facebook.com/v/xxxxxxxxxxxxx Where xxxxxxxxxxxxx equals the video number.

Put the bolded section within the newly created facebookvideo tags
ex: [.facebookvideo]134471197675[./facebookvideo]
Remove the periods in the tags...:
