Arnold and DePalma are very, very slow. Blackwell has some speed but makes up for it with lack of size. They really need Steele. Anyone know what is wrong with him? He looks fine (and much bigger). He is a little old for mono.
I actually like the DBs other than Pupel. He is very noticeably slower (live) than anyone else on the field. Really surprised how little Nelson is playing as I thought he looked good in the Spring Game.
Not really sure what to say about the DL except that it has been disappointing.
Offense:
The OL has been OK against inferior Ds. Mahogany had a terrible game against NIU.
Tackas killed us in the NIU game game. He didn't have a drop today. Thought the TEs would be a bigger part of the O this year. There have been very little 2 TE sets.
The RBs are mediocre at best. Gone are the days of AJD, Williams, Green, Cloud...
If we had good WRs, they would have stood out against the last two opponents. They didn't.
Moorehead was so bad last week. TC is athletic but never looks off his first target. He is also hard to like.
depalma is rocking the dad bod already & arnold put on way too much muscle and can't move.
ezeraku has been very silent considering opponents and the rumored offers he received this offseason

That is on the defensive line. They are not doing their job. Their job is to establish the line of scrimmage one yard into the backfield THUS tying up ALL the offensive linemen in piles. This frees up linebackers to make the tackle at the line of scrimmage, negating the opponent's running game. Linebackers are being blocked because defensive linemen are blown completely off the line.

IRREGARDLESS the LBs are horrible and have been for the last 4 years. Either huge hulking slow guys or safeties trying to play LB.

Rumor is Hafley just said in the post-game press conference in regard to the ACC championship game “if we keep doing what we are doing there is a path and the path is there”. Path has been a codeword amongst BC fans the past few weeks about BC making the ACC title game.
-Louisville loses to Miami or Virginia
-UNC wins out
-BC wins out
The ACC Championship game would be between the Florida State Seminoles and the Boston College Eagles.

ACC {l Wrote}:Three (or More) Team Tie
Three team (or more) tiebreaker procedure will first be used to identify one Championship Game
representative. Once that team is determined, the tiebreaker procedures restart for the remaining
tied teams.
1. Combined head-to-head win-percentage among the tied teams if all tied teams are common
opponents.
2. If all the tied teams are not common opponents, the tied team that defeated each of the other
tied teams.
3. Win-percentage versus all common opponents.
4. Win-percentage versus common opponents based upon their order of finish (overall
conference win-percentage, with ties broken) and proceeding through other common
opponents based upon their order of finish.
5. Combined win-percentage of conference opponents.
6. The tied team with the highest ranking by the Team Rating Score metric provided by
SportSource Analytics following the conclusion of regular season games.
7. The representative shall be chosen by a draw as administered by the Commissioner or
Commissioner’s designee.

@BCgenius
Per three people close to the program, I am told that Elijah Jones is NOT injured. But he is out for the year. I am guessing it is disciplinary, but do not know that for a fact.

@EaglesDailyBC
not great!
with hindsight hafley's quote backs up it's not injury:
'elijah is probably out for the season and that's all i have on that right now'
