Both teams are 0-1 starting their seasons with embarrassing losses. This should be a good one! :chewbanka

Nice defensive stand!

Defense playing good enough to win, time for the offense to wake up

It looks like BC hired Mike Palmer as the Tackling Coach.

We seem to allow a lot of 45 plus yard FG while never converting any.

I was cynical about our team's chances this year. But we're actually struggling more than I expected so far. We need > 20 first downs in this game to have a chance. We have zero right now. Defense needs to get some turnovers.

As spineless as always. Hafley is the second-to-last coach that would inspire me to dig out of an early deficit. He gets punched in the mouth and sits down

The Rutgers loss was bad bad bad bad

Feels like we're sliding back into Spaz territory here.

We just found a GenX, non-mustached version of Spaz and we're probably going to have to live with this for a good long while if the university's prior actions with regard to coaching is any indicator.

I can hear the transfer portal opening up! It makes a weird hum, like an oscillating tower fan that’s been on too long. Also, the ratio of out/in is heavily in the out’s favor

Even if we believe Haf's defense is improved, at this pace they will wear down again (like the last two years) late in the season, after being out there for far too many plays. Late in the year we will be giving up 40+, even if the O has figured things out.

I don't know if the OL as a unit has had a single play on offense where they all did their jobs well.

Maybe hiring an assistant defensive backs coach was not the stroke of genius after all.

The good news is Leahy is rumored to be retiring next spring. The bad news is that means at least another year of this Hafley idiot. Maybe the next president will care about athletics.

Conley and Cline have been comically bad. Neither looks athletic enough to be a tackle in the ACC. Hopefully, they prove me wrong.

I wonder if NFL GMs like watching a shellshocked QB prospect miss multiple open throws, flat out avoiding throwing an easy TD to Flowers (in favor of a 1 yard gain on 3rd and 2) and be seen shouting at the rest of his team like they’re the problem. As bad as the line as, Phil has been just as bad
