Coming out in the wildcat with a BC sloppy-seconds converted TE. Schiano is such a dink.

Schiano lines up 3 different guys at QB in his first three plays from scrimmage. What a clown.

The OL is positively brutal live. Jurk isn't good either but the line stinks.

It's bad play not poor talent.

Alright 2 minutes left in the half.

If Jurkovec can get them into the endzone one more time before the gun, I wouldn't even have him take the field in the second half. Rutgers has had 6 first downs in the game. The defense is doing a good job (particularly against the pass) even if they can't seem to get a turnover.

Yep. They look lost on runs and blitz pick ups. But you can see the talent is there

I wonder what is going on in Jurkovec’s head sometimes.

alright the defense finally got a pick but the offense couldn't do anything with it. Lifton you need to hit those, you suck.

Defense looks real good.

It’s the same on TV.

That last series was brutal. Jurk seemed to be oblivious as to the end-of-half situation. Maybe he is auditioning for the Giants.

Halftime thoughts...

Offensive: Run game has been terrible so far. Plenty of good targets still available for Phil. Passing game has been reasonably decent and really hasn't gone vertical. The offense is different when they are in urgent situations and Phil gets run plays called for him - given the early lead and it being Game 1 they aren't going to call many of these.

Defensive: Tough to get a good read on. They haven't blitzed much at all. Keeping it vanilla and getting things done but Rutgers doesn't look very exciting on offense either. Got better as the half went on.

Special Teams: Missed FG could be a killer. Not good.

Rutgers has taken 8 penalties which has been a huge difference maker. When considering that, I don't know how good we look.

He looks off today. Don’t know if his hand still hurts, or it’s mental, but he definitely isn’t as crisp with his throws as he was when he first got here. Hopefully just first game jitters

its just Rutgers but BC's defense has been very good (particularly on 3rd down.) Rutgers is only 1-for-7 on 3rd which bodes well for BC.

I still contend what I said earlier. If BC gets a 17 point lead, get Jurkovec off the field. We don't want anything broken. but I am pretty confident that BC's defense can hold Rutgers to just one more score.

This looks more and more like a 24-13 game to me. Sounds about right

Rutgers is brutally bad.

Jurks decisions before the half were terrible. But that FGA was high school level shit.

Jurk is the most surprising negative so far. Too many inaccurate throws, and some weak throws as well.

Anyone disappointed in OL hasn't been paying attention. Rutgers is a Big 10 team. They're going to have front 7 ppl that can load up against the run and make a green OL look bad. If the OL looks bad against Maine and Uconn, then that says something.

Maybe Funishment will come back now that Jurk has decided to be Grosel 2.0 with late and short throws.
