What happened with the series with Army? I thought it was going to be long-term, including a game at Yankee Stadium, but it ended after the second game.

If we're going to play a non-P5 team OOC, Army should be at the top of the list - 3rd most frequent opponent, great place to visit on the road, an easy trip for many and an honorable opponent.

Bates has hired awful coaches and has shown he has no clue how to schedule for football or hoops. He's done nothing to improve facilities but, supposedly there is an exciting announcement coming soon. Anyone know how he's doing on the fundraising front? Probably just as shitty.

Are these idiots judged on some sort of metric? Because outside of graduation rate he pretty much sucks at all of it.

As I recall, Army begged out of the series citing the need to lower their scheduling profile, which is hilariously ironic today.

That Army team that should have beat Navy today would have kicked the shit out of us. And they signed a six year deal with their traditional rival Wake Forest earlier this year. We sold out Michie Stadium in 2013. How did Brad blow this one? Wake also has a future series with Tulane. Hell of a lot better trip than DeKalb, and we've played them several times in the past.

Brad is looking for "Bus Trips", thus UMass and UConn. Charter planes are expensive especially for an athletics program that is losing money.

You bring up a very good point about Army. That is a bus trip missed by BB!

was the army series cancelled after spaz rudely left the field during the alma mater and max ricci's dad cut the bus line?

Just spoke with my coworker who has been a season ticket holder for 30 years. He's not renewing in 2016. He's tired of paying full price for season tickets just to have BC slash ticket prices the week leading up to each home game. He's going to buy week-to-week, instead.

Great job, Brad.

did he have a parking space as well? that's really the only benefit to getting season tickets at this point.

Considering the 3-9 (0-ACC) shit show the Bates/Sarge team dealt the fans this year, in a show of good faith, Bates should gift free parking to all long time season ticket holders that renew next season.

Yeah, I know, hell will freeze over before that happens.

Blaud's again! We're going to have to create a separate thread to keep track of all these Bloop's Scoops! Wagner announced for 9/24. He also predicts that 9/17 will be the bye.

http://ajerseyguy.com/?p=13186

That would make 2016:
9/3 - GT (Dublin)
9/10 - @UMass
9/17 - BYE
9/24 - Wagner
10/1 - Buffalo
10/8 - (ACC)
10/15 - (ACC)
10/22 - (ACC)
10/29 - (ACC)
11/5 - (ACC)
11/12 - (ACC)
11/19 - UConn
11/26 - Syracuse

I'll give Bates and Daz credit for this much at least: that's how you ease a team into a schedule coming off a 3-win season. Then again, the cupcake early schedule didn't exactly help the team develop in '15, so who knows.

Playing Wagner is some really shameful shit.
And the fact it's after week 1 leaves me speechless.

BTW This is the same Wagner team that lost to RICE by 40 this year. What a joke.

Same as me...32 years with season tickets, DBS, and parking, but I can no longer stand what is happening...if I need a fix, I'll buy the $10 ticket, and sit wherever I want in a half full stadium in 2016.

im not renewing season tix. first time since 07ish? additionally, i had no idea we played pitt yesterday.

i live under 4 miles from bc. the stadium is on the street i live on.

i sure hope this is rock bottom because i can't imagine it getting worse for bc athletics.
