Agreed. He embodies what the school and program hopes to be.

wouldn't he be a quadruple threat qb? he can (1) run, (b) pass, (iii) shit on his teammates, and (four) get broken

I was hoping that he would have a press conference to announce that he was entering the draft. I imagined it looking like this:

...
This AP article from November 2, when Pitt was 4-4, talked about how transfer QBs have disappointed at some programs. Kedon Slovis was the focus:

Rather than have backups ...compete for the right to take over for Pickett, Narduzzi turned to (USC) transfer Kedon Slovis last December.

The results have been mixed at best. Slovis has just five touchdown passes against five interceptions and the Panthers (4-4, 1-3) essentially saw any chance at repeating as Coastal Division champion end with a loss to North Carolina last week, a game in which Slovis completed less than half of his attempts (14 of 31) and failed to produce any points in the fourth quarter.
...
Narduzzi has continued to back Slovis as the starter while allowing he was put in a difficult position. Not only was Slovis tasked with replacing a program icon, but he also had to do it while working with a first-year offensive coordinator in Frank Cignetti.
...
Slovis spent the offseason relentlessly working with his new teammates hoping chemistry would come sooner rather than later.

It hasn't. At least not consistently, leaving Slovis as a flashpoint for an offense that has morphed from one of the most potent passing attacks in the country behind Pickett and 2021 Biletnikoff winner Jordan Addison (now at USC) into one that's become reliant on running back Israel Abanikanda's legs to move the ball.

Slovis finished strong, but was still had only 10 TD throws to 9 INTs. Narduzzi won't think twice about throwing Cignetti under the bus, so he better be right if he brings Jurkovec home.

Of course, it will tell us far more if Cignetti doesn't offer Jurkovec when they're lukewarm about Slovis. Slovis was inconsistent this season in a ball-control offense without the built-in excuse of an atrocious offensive line. There's no way Pitt offers Jurkovec unless they know they're moving on from Slovis, but Slovis isn't so good that a team wouldn't blow him off if they could get a better replacement. So if Cignetti says "no thanks", how far will Jurkovec fall?

Fuck all of you with an AIDS infested dick that are kicking Jurkovec on the way out. Took an absolute fucking beating for our school due to a high school OL and still is positive about his BC experience. Y’all can’t die of ass cancer quick enough.

He’s a BC guy unlike some of you UConn grads or people who don’t even like sports.

Fuck y’all

No, he'd be a better QB if that were the case.

A former 4-star recruit, he saw his first and only action against Cuse (after entering The Portal oddly enough) after our 5th OL went down with an injury and Hess proved to be "ineffective." Best of luck to him.

This shows the value of these rankings (at the very least as it relates to areas like New England where little attention is paid).

I always assumed that scholarship players were guaranteed 4 years, but maybe it is 4 years or graduation whichever is first? Pyne dressing for the Cuse game despite entering The Portal that morning but me wonder about this. It was SR day so I am sure JH told some guys that they were not going to be offered another year so they could do the flower thing with their parents.
Also, I was surprised how quickly Pyne graduated (4 semesters and 3 summers). How many classes can these guys bang out in the summer?

Technically, a scholarship is year to year but BC cares A LOT about matriculating students graduating (for APR) so I’ve heard you need to really fuck up to not get renewed until graduation.

Didn’t Pyne early enroll which would make 5 semesters?
