BCSUPERFAN22 {l Wrote}:This is a bit OT, but I was just searching for an article that I vaguely remember, in re: to the Paw Sox and a failed bid to build a new stadium in Providence, which was proposed for the river front and turned down because Brown owns the land and wanted to much money for it.
Would BC ever look into a situation with the new stadium where the Red Sox/Paw Sox would be involved ? Either share the cost and reduce the cost of building, or build on their own and lease to the AAA affiliate as an additional source of revenue that runs through the summer. Pawtucket's current stadium is fairly large (10k) and average ~6500 per game (2015) but I wonder if they would ever consider an arrangement (most likely with a smaller stadium) to have their AAA affiliate in Boston with easy access from the city. Would a minor league affiliate work in Boston ?

claver2010 {l Wrote}:bc has a starter that's been getting a lot of draft hype, Justin dunn who was moved from the bullpen this year. throws mid 90s & led the acc in era, looks like a mid 1st round pick by those that follow that stuff. apparently he's going tomorrow, I don't pretend to know the logic of when to throw your ace in this tournament.
